I never really mentioned anything about port volume. From what I can remember, the port I recommended took up 1.3 cubes lol.

Yeah, I only judge by port opening...and then whatever port length is required to get the right tuning.

You cannot go by volume since the mouth area and length are directly related, ie as mouth area increases so does the length..
