| FS is 65 Hz so I'd say its more of a midbass 
Power handeling and Xmax leaves something to be desired out of a good midbass, but considering you will probably get them for less then $20 canadian shipped /pair I don't think you can go too wrong...

| I have a pair.. seem well built but have not put any power to them yet.
I have then slated for midbass duty in a 3-way setup.
Things may change but that is what I bought them for.

| Bah! They don't have the cone area to be a decent midbass. Yer gonna get THWACK THWACK THWACK out of that if you give it under 100hz with any real power.
Maybe in the house you could convince yourself it's a midbass. In the car, it's a mid. | |

| i was just checkin, i was thinking of making some home speakers with them but think i will wait for at least a decent 6" to come along

| Silly me, I meant mid-range .. The 4 x 7" Vifa PLs are for mid-bass.
