| Hey
I'm having some problems with my Clarion DB455MC.
Whenever I enter an MP3 Cd into it, it always classifies the songs by folders according to the different albums. This sort of annoys me because whenever I put it on Random it only stays in one folder and i keep on having to change the folders and sometimes there is only one song in each folder because i make mix cd's..pretty much what i'm asking is does anyone know a way of just making the deck classify the mp3's by songs instead of albums?
Thanks |

| that was kind of annoyin part about that deck, ive had a few, awsome decks, but the display for names on songs and stuff, and the random was pretty lame...my only sugestion, is make a cd with all one folder, then u can press random and itll play it all, just make 2 cd's one with all ur folders, so wen ur looking for a certain song u can gte it, and one with just one big folder, thats how i got around that problem

| thanks for the advice, I've tried to do that before and i ended up having to change the songs on my windows media player that i wanted on the cd to the same album name. Which worked somewhat, but then on my windows media player alot of songs are not in the right album column and it turns into one big mess. Do you know any simple ways to make all the songs stay in one folder? |

| yeah, when i make disk i just drag all my songs into a list and then burn it, no folders or anything. Then when i put the disk into my deck it is all split into many different folders because the album names are different, and i'm just trying to figure out how to make them all into one folder on my deck. |

| well, ur making cds wrong...i use nero, all u do is select the songs u want, and add them to the list to be burnt, i make data discs, because it lets u use mp3's and wma's.
the problem isnt with the deck, theyr great, my brother still has one in his jeep. sounds to me like ur burner program isnt working properly, or ur adding the folders as well to the disc your making, if u want em all in the same folder, select just the songs, not the folders there in...my suggestion, if ur not using nero 8, get it, u can find it on like limewire or w/e.
its a good program, and just make sure to make a data disc.

| yes its not an issue of the deck but how your cd's get formatted when you burn them.
Try your cd's on another player and it will do the same |
