who wins? what is better sub the alpine type R's or the kicker comp VR's ?

I had a buddy with R's and I found my Vr's hit lower now of course it's all in the design of the box but mine sounded better, now he went through his type R's like water tinsel leads kep snapping off on him.

wat about alpine type r 12s vs infinity perfect 12s
