I have a Clarion DPX1800 amp and I was wondering if the amp would be alright running at .75 ohms. I have 2 dual 3 ohm subs that I'm running and the amp puts out only about half the power at 3 ohms as it does at 1 ohm so I would like to wire the subs down to .75 ohm but I'm afraid of damaging something. The amp is rated at 800 Watts @ 1 ohm and the subs are 900 Watt RMS combined so the power would be fine. Does anyone see a problem with me doing this?
