hey, going to piece together my first setup sometime this week.. wanted a few opinions, im a complete noob at this stuff..

im buying the following used for a great price:

Panasonic cq-c9700u deck
10" Phoenix Gold Xenon sub w/ sealed enclosure (450w RMS)
Alpine MRP-M650 amp (4 ohms: 400W RMSx 1)

1. will this setup kick hard enough to be worth it? i want to get decent stuff that will work at least for the time being
2. will the deck wreck my stock 4x6s and 6x9s (97 sunfire).. i dont have the flow to upgrade them yet but that will happen in the near future..

thanks

Your factory speakers will be just fine with the new deck. Upgrade the speakers and add an amp to them when you get the cash.

You'll get some kick with that setup but don't expect it to shake the car apart. What's your budget for sub/amp/enclosure?

since that amp has 600w x 1 at 2 ohms, can i wire the sub since its a dual coil to work at 2 ohms? or would that be bad since 600W rms > 450w rms??
