On the topic of crimping big terminals (4 gauge or bigger)
Is it even possible to use anything other than a vice? I've always had to use a vice for them, no way my box end's were closing those connectors....
You guys got any tips?

Oh, and after many botched crimps, i figured you you have to do one half first, then get the next one to fold over it, then tighten like heck... it's worked perfectly since....

I use a crimp adapter that I made and use a big honking pair of vise grips to do the squishing. Works good and they go on super tight, the only drawback is that your hands get sore after a few crimps.

Speaking of 1/0 crimp terminals, I took the day off work and going to do 2 more runs of 1/0 in my truck today.
