Hey all ...If you were gonna run a single Sub in a sealed box for a GMC Sierra Ext Cab with say a Lanzar 800Watt Class D Amp what would your choice of Sub be? 1.Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1D DVC 350Watt MX RMS 2.Pioneer TS-W2541DVC 350 Watt MX RMS link 3.Pioneer Premier TS-W1041DVC 400 Watt RMS link 4.Rockford Fosgate RFD2210 DVC 150-500Watt MX RMS link 5.Elemental Designs DVC E10K.44 link 6.(don't know if the amp would handle this one or if i would lose alot of SQ but I was also lookin at the)Pioneer Premier TS-W1500SPL 500 Watt MX RMS link ..mmm bass..not sure if it's DVC though.--------------------------------So I been lookin and looks like I can pick up a single one of any of these for roughly the same price (around $150 CDN shipped) what will push harder???? HELPPPPPP! P.S. Anyone wanna buy a Pyramid Amp PB880 1200 Watt...I seriously doubt it will push even my one sub thats why i gettin the Lanzar amp...... hahahaha ........ no really I'm serious ...hehe!! --------so many questions ..still so new.....BTW how's the Power Acoustic FUBR-10 series link rank in yer opinion?

THANKS ALL been readin on this forum for awhile but just joined now ..love it here!

Is $150 the most you are willing to spend?

How much space do you have for the sub?

Which Lanzar amp do you have?

If you haven't yet bought the amp.....how much do you have to spend on the amp?

 • Well $150 isn't the most I have to spend but I'm not lookin to spend 250 either I mean I can get quality for around 150 so why not.</font>
 • The room I have is under the backseats of my truck ...preferably only under one side in a sealed enclosure.</font>
 • I'm looking at the Lanzar Opti 800Watt AMPLINK</font>
 • I have a Pyramid PB880 1200 Watt 4CH amp but I be thinkin its only gonna push around 200 Watt RMS total (being Pyramid and all)..so I might use it to push my mids/highs(Infinitys).</font>
 • Can I use my Deck (Pioneer DEH-4500MP 4x50) to push my mids?</font>
 • Thanks for alllll the Input!!!</font>

</font>
 • Shiva 12", 375W rms per voice coil, Dual 8 ohm $179.99cdn shipped!</font>
How's the shiva stand up within this list? (and if it's 375RMS per voice coil does that mean it's 750RMS? would the Lanzar amp push it?

Shiva's are excellent drivers but they do like space.

I'm going to need some exact dimensions of the space you are looking to use before I can be of any help.

 • The exact dimensions I'm not sure of ..it's a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 Ext Cab though.</font>
 • Been steering towards the Pioneer Premier TS-W1041DVC 400 Watt RMS ..like the look and the Sub seems to have a good reputation.</font>
 • Was thinkin bout the Elemental Design Sub but it's a little more costly.</font>
 • Can I run mids/highs off my deck?(50x4)or would u run a separate amp(my pyramid) to run the mids/highs?</font>
 • thanks for the input again</font>
 • that question still stands about the shiva if it says 375 RMS PER voice coil does that mean it would be a 750RMS max? considering the shiva but kinda doubt it ...pretty sure I'm gonna go with the Pioneer Premier TS-W1041DVC 400 Watt RMS !</font>
CHEERS!

Yes....you can run the mids off your hu. You'll likely get more power out of the amp you already have though....I'd try that first.

Those TSW's are great subs for the money.

Shiva's handle about 300-400WRMS in most enclosures.

If you are planning to up/downfire....you should be able to get away with at least a 12. Again..It's not wise to pick a sub before knowing the dimensions of the space available.
