i have been told the same thing... that going to school can just get in the way of you actually learning... but i think what it would help with is getting you into a place like visions to do installs where you dont really talk to car audio guys as you would in a car audio shop right... tell you what blazin well both move to the same place and start our own damn shop! hahaha

Ya know ive got an idea! there is alot of members on her with reputable shops right?
So if there was someone willing to learn the skill, maybe they could offer some time, Say i wanted to learn and i would come help out for free, just to learn, Cut some mdf, solder a few wires, etc etc. Even help out cleaning the shop, sweeping up and shit.
And no strings attached, if it don't work out with one prospect move on to the next. I get that there will be some door knobs that you cant stand to breathe the same air with lmao.
I think that peolple that are in the industry should help out those wanting to get in, I mean c'mon lets face it why would i pay for training for a job that pays an average of 10-15 bucks an hour?
Im sure you could write up a contract between the shop and the "pupil" so there is no risk of injury. And if youre a knob youre out of here lol
And im thinking like 10- 20 hours per week depending on the "pupils" present employment requirments.
Could wind up with an awsome employee??

That is the way to doi it dont bother taking mobile its not hands on. Just like they said get into a shop and become an appprentice and get your hours and then go write the test and be certified.
