Ok, I guess I misunderstood you. Then please, if you wish, carry on with your test - if you want to of course. I would be most interested in your results, whether good or bad.

I think you have Richard mixed up with someone else regarding the dust cap loss. Richard has not lost anything. His intention is to drive the SPL-12 with 5kw this weekend. It should be interesting to see the results - either good OR bad.

He was refering to me.. I have had caps blown off.. well... technically, nothing to do with the dust caps. The top layer of paper would seperate from the rest of the cone resulting in the dust cap coming off.. It may have been a faulty couple of cones, but I don't know.

Also the first one happened when Wall Socketing the sub. I would like to get this test done too, but nothing's been set up yet.

and kirby you also heard that a few dd's blew up and called them shit.

look how long and what i did to mine before it went.

look what you did to yours and how many times u had to fix it.

So, is that why you buy these drivers, to see which one would blow up faster?
