I would like to upgrade the ground on my alternator (95 Mustang) to 0 guage but am not sure where the ground wire actually is. Someone suggested just running 0 guage from the bolt that holds the alternator casing together to a ground spot on the car. Will grounding on the alt casing work, or do I need to ground to a specific place on the alternator?

Thanks,

Lawrence.

The casing of the alternator is it's ground so any upgrading cable can be from the block of the motor or from one of the retaining bolts that holds the alternator to the support brackets.
