| hi i am replacing my battery and i am wondering what would be the best battery options for me.

| im looking for the least voltage drop posible, so basically the question i should be asking is what is the diff in voltage drop between one battery with 2 15' lengths of 0 gauge, or 2 batteries with 2 very short runs of 0 gauge from back batt to amp | |

| you need something with a lot of reserve capacity. we have a guy running strapped d10s off a group 34 and he loses 2v on a burp and hes hitting 149.2 right now on TL he has 8 runs of 4ga
if the 2 smaller batts equal the capacity of the 1 big bat then i think you get the same results regardless... but i might be way off... the length of wire just changes how far the power has to run before it makes it to the amp...

| kinetik makes crazy batteries, so does hawker. they are designed just for stereos so you really cant go wrong... are you building an SPL car? if so be sure to check the size limits for the class you are planning to run in. Also most street classes dont let you have more then 1 battery... so check that aswell.. | |
