I've heard the same about power running from ground to power.

Think of Lightning. It's generated from the clouds and builds up from static in the atmosphere. It builds and builds until it has to be released.

So, it travels to the ground, But... a small lightning strike from the ground comes up to meet the lightning coming from the cloud to make the connection and make the bang.

So, without the ground coming to the power it wouldn't connect.

But, I'm good with power running from + to -.

Well, power is just Voltage x Current. But I've seen pictures of lighting and seen those "spikes" come up from the ground.
Amazing stuff.

Current runs opposite to electron flow.

The reason we fuse the + is the chassis is - so it makes more sense to protect the +cabling.

Nice ground - I was expecting the classic picture of a drywall screw piercing the wire and into the floor

is the wire capable of carrying enough current to pop the fuse?

I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.

So I lost track of this thread... but rest assured I got the ground problem solved with some nice 4awg and a bolt through the trunk floor... she still wants me to put in a larger 12" or 15" sub in a ported box and maybe a larger amp...

we'll see how nice she is to me in the comming weeks ahead

Anyway.. I'm not sure what this non-sense is about current comming from ground... but I am sure it's confusion over the fact that what we consider the +'ve battery terminal is actually negatively charged
(electrons have negative charge)
