expanding foam works great to stop rattles and such. but use in moderation as it will EXPAND our panels and stuff apart if you use to much.

Just make sure you use low expansion foam... it works really good in trunk lids and it sticks to your fingernails for weeks

I used a lot of foam, almost too much.. After filling up my trunk lid and some gaps in the fenders/wheel wells I was doing some wiring weeks later and found that the foam filled pretty much my entire unibody running from the trunk through the rockers to the firewall. Only time will tell how combustible that stuff really is

And make sure you wear gloves.. I won't even get into the horror storys trying to get that shit off my hands.

As per the conclusion... I will foam my next car, It works great.

I have used it, I like what it does. It is not a great damper so put down dynamat first. It will and has bent the sheet metal of numerous cars so don't over apply. It is sold as a thermal insulation (it works) it also stops air movement so it quiets sound coming into or out of a vehicle and it has some sound absorbency to it. As an acoustic product it is merely OK but it can go where nothing else can so it is great, it will stop shakes and rattles and provide structural rigidity where there isn't any (nice feature the car feels more solid going down the highway).

IT IS AN ADHESIVE it will make stuff stick together so be careful...wear gloves

It is made of polyisocyanide... CN is part of the mix so getting it on your fingers is bad, you can sensitize yourself to CN by doing this (as I have) and then get sick playing with it, wear gloves

I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.

well im sold, The foam worked like a charm! and it makes a HUGE difference. the only problem was that i ran out , foolish me i only bought a small can. so my trunk lineing is only 1/2 done , i'll finish it off tomorow as fo it sticking to your hands alittle 99% Rubbing alchole and it comes right off. I highly advise using foam
