Ok I've heard that If you have subs it will actualy sound cleaner and clearer if you remove your rear speakers. I have a 93 Concorde with 2 tens in the trunk and 6"x 9"s in the rear shelf. Would it be benificial to take the 6"x 9"s out?

you'll get a bunch of different answers, unless you have massive amounts of processing and years of tuning experience, I say take um out.

Ya all I'm trying to do is build a nice budget system taht sounds good and makes cruises fun. So why does it sound better just less problems with sound canceling out and distorting?

Quoting myself from another post:
"you ever gone to a concert and sat with your back to the stage?
ever go to an opera where the singers stand behind you?
when you listen at home, where do you like the speakers placed?...behind you somewhere?
when you get right into a video on mtv do you turn your back to the tv?"

again, just my view.

I agree with MTT..
I have rears in my car but they are on the walls (its a coupe) and not the rear deck.. I use them but fade them appropriately so they dont over power my front stage.. They are good for a little extra mid bass as well

Well I just removed my 6x9s and sounds alot better actually. I can hear my subs a bit better and the drums are alot clearer not as muddy and blended together.
