quick question..

hmm well i got my sub and amp. i was lookin at these amp wire kits and it says on them like it can wire up to 1 thousand watts. r they talkin about the watts on the subwoofer cuzz its like 800 watts max or like the wattage max on the amp:S

ok. and the amp is 300 watts max. power so i should look for a wiring kit around 300 watts?

dont worry about that just get yourself a 4ga kit you will be fine unless you plan on adding more power ( we all do) then go with a 0 ga. As long as you arnt competing 1 0ga run will do pretty much any setup

ya but how how many watts do i go with...? i see all these 4 gauge ones with like 1000 watts, 800, 400, 300, 250.. which 1 do i buy ?

get a quality 4ga kit, from a decent name like stinger. then you have good wire good RCA's yadda yadda yadda, just dont pay for one with a cap in it. and dont worry about fancy ground blocks and all that crap, just get a basic 4ga wiring kit with a good name, dont worry about its power rating what you need to look at is the size of the in line fuse it comes with. get something with about an 80amp inline fuse, 60 is the absolute minimum!
