my old cutlass ciara was like that but it did go loud for 400watts rms try and get something over 1000watts rms and you should be good even with a firewall you should still hear it for sure

unless you are willing to cut holes in the firewall lol

My friend has a Beemer with the firewall. 400wrms on one 12" IDQ sealed. He is not heard from a block away, but sounds nice in the car. Sounds like what you really need is 1 or 2 12" or 15" SPL subs ported in around 3 cubes or more. Choices you got on subs are excellent. Gotta figure out what sub/s you want, and at what impedance they will run, and then get a Class D monoblock which puts out around 1500 wrms. I recommend getting a used Sundown 1500D, and spend the rest on new sub/s. I would not get used, cause they may have been beaten to death already. If you can get your hands on Sundown amp, you will be extremely happy. I have one - what a beast!!! Sounds extremely clean too, not too big, and super efficient. Then you need to get sub/s to run at 1 ohm. You can even run this amp at 0.5 ohm, but for the sake of your alternator, I would not try it. Amp also excepts up to 18 volts. If I had $1000 for amp and sub/s, I would only get the Sundown to run them if I wanted loud bass.

My friend is using this amp right now on an 18" Focal KX in an Impala, and he has enough bass to collapse a lung, and then some...

i wouldnt be able to awnser that one lol if it was an old car i would say who gives a shit just do it but since its a newer car i beleive i would check on that . im pretty sure it wouldnt hurt the value and to cut the holes you would have to find someone with a plasma cutter or just use a jig saw. but you will have to remove the rear seat to do this somehow

I don't know how ridiculously loud you want it, but I would get that Sundown amp with two 12" IDMAX subs, cause I love SQ. This will be loud and very clean. Chris at S & S Electronics in Scarborough has them on amazing sale, and you can get both brand new locally for $600 plus taxes I guess. This would be my pick at the moment. IDMAX's will look sweet in a Beemer.

Then you can get another used 2 or 4 channel Sundown to run a component set in the front, and possible rear fill.

How about two Premier TS-W3001D4 powered by a Soundstream PCX2000D amp ? Ported box around 34 hertz ? Any Good ?

Btw if i get the holes in the firewall the wont be visible right , because theres a gray cover on it so u dont see the metal ?

2000 watt RMS is enough right ? The Alternator is 120 amp and i have a new battery , and i will be upgrading to 0 Gauge wiring ...

How much cash on the box though ?

I suppose the Pionners are OK, but come on man, you have a BMW, people are gonna laugh at your Pioneer subs. I would puit something nicer if I had Beemer. 2000 watts is definitely enough to dim your lights severely, so make sure get the install right. Box can be custom made for around $200 I guess, or get a used one. Genarally bigger the box, bigger the bass, of course it is trickier than this if you pay attention to detail.
