hey, my neighbor just gave me a bazooka rsw1224DVC 12" dual cone sub, with cracked cone... is it worth reconing?

i have an Alpine MRP-M650 amp, 600W at 2 ohms and a Phoenix gold xenon X10d4 10" sub currently.

if its worth reconing the sub, could i wire both subs to the amp in some kind of configuration? or does the amp not have enough power? could it run a second PG sub?

I wouldn't recommend mixing and matching subwoofers. Putting another Xenon 10d4 will present a load of either 4 or 1 ohm for the amp so thats ruled out too.

You won't find a recone for that sub from bazooka...

it could still be reconned, but by the time you pay to ship it out, have the work done, and have it shipped back..... it probably wouldn't be worth it...

you could probably fix the crack with some glue, tho...
