Deck - 750
Sub - 350 (05 RE XXX 12)
Box - 300
Amp - 250
Install & everything else - 250

If you buy new, you're going to pay a lot more, I got my "$1200 retail" sub for cheap. It's 5k for a kicker 2500 in a shop here, on ebay it's around $400. These guys are using Winisd Pro (google/download) for their box designs, it gives an idea of what'll happen with what setup. It's about smooth airflow, look at poundthatsound boxes and see how a better constructed box makes better sound. One ported 12 on 1500W wasn't enough for me but for the average listener it's overkill. Don't expect low-lows if you tune a box to 35hz.

I want it tuned where i can get good lows (JEEZY) lol and highs , i gotta change the speakers too they are 5.25 inch 4 of em , i was thinking Alpine speakers there 100RMS each and i want to amplify them or is there no need and is it ok to just hook it up with the head unit ?

And are u selling the stuff u wrote above ?

The sub & amp are fried. Most HU's have enough power for fronts and it might have a nice EQ, get one that does atleast 50W x 4, if not, get a cheaper deck, and a component amp so you can atleast have some tuning ability, changing the bass/mid/treble +/- 6 notches isn't 'tuning'. If you want lows, get either 2 12's and tune/port them at 30hz and use around 2000W, or something like 3-4 sealed 12's, both should take up the same airspace. My XXX rolls after 35hz and falls on its face after 30hz, but 35+ it's louder than any 1-12 I've heard. What do you drive? 3 sealed 12's in my buddies talon was a decent daily setup, it was enough so that it didn't leave you wanting to switch up again and it sounded great. Theres a huge difference between jeezy and other low stuff, what do you listen to? All that new rap is garbage for lows. Listen to Andre Nickatina - Killa Whale. I'd say 'blueberry yumyum' by luda and 'where is the bud' by 3-6 both sound about the same but I'm sure b-yumyum is 5-10hz lower, get an idea of what frequencies are in the music you're listening to. I'm using a bunch of sealed 12's next. If you're just listening to rap I doubt you'll care about the high's.

have you thought about not doing this at all? cuz you will need some good electrical to power a big amp. i hope the battery is in the back in that bmw and i hope you know how to upgrade the alternator wire and grounds.

How about the MTX Thunder Elite amp , its rated at 3750RMS @ 1 ohm plus its only 1000$ ??? If u have any ideas on that lemme know .... And if u guys recommend any other amp in that range lemme know because this guy here smartass deals with sundown amps in Tdot , is it possible if he might be able to give me a cheap deal ?
I am kinda curious how you know what a BNIB sundown amp costs in canada as I am the only one who carries them and you have not talked to me about a price. I can cut you a deal if you are wanting one...but I wont warranty stupidity!

What about the Mach 5 SPL? It has been tested to get just as loud as the RE MT, IA DP, DD9512 with the same power. And is much cheaper.

OK , so no need to amplify the speakers , my HU does 50x4 Pioneer PH-4900 DVD player . And i listen to Bone thugs , mostly old school stuff and some from Jeezy just cuz they sound good no new shit . I dont know how many amps my alternator is but i heard someone say its 120 amps , im not sure i tried searching but i couldnt find out. I was thinking of putting to 15" Fi BTL's but i also want the box to be able to come out when i need luggage space , is that possible ???

No....not the SPL. Its rated at 1500rms but has yet to be killed using a car amplifier. Its been tested with 5kw with no issues.

The only way it was killed was after minute and a half in a wall socket.
