Guys i want to know which on is more powerful and reliable , if their both in a nice built custom box and powered by a Memphis 16-MCD4KW 4000RMS @ 1 ohm amplifier ?

Which one will take away the competitions because i have a 94 Civic hatch and the electrical is done amazingly well and fully dynamated im just wondering which one is the Killer , i could fit a 15" too but i dont know if that will be any good. So if u have any ideas on the amp let me know or if a different amp will be better .

I have no back seat so i do have alot of space and how many Db's can one of these beasts reach . Im thinking of getting a nicely tuned box for one of these but i only want one subwoofer to be in the back , trying to build a SPL car BUT if u guys have any better ideas or different opinions on the amp or sub let me know which is better or something out there is much better. Btw the Alternator is 210 Amp's so its no problem , i got it custom made especially for the car .

who made ur alt? how is your electrical system upgraded? to run a huge amp like that properly, u had better have a huge power supply

Between the Xxx and the btl for spl id take the btl any day of the week. might i also suggest you look at the re mt. it's the predecessor to the btl and is a great spl sub. im selling one if your interested. pm me for more info.

I didnt say it was crap , when took a look at it , it was kinda nice and reliable .


M mechanic did the alterator the guy is crazy he used to work for BMW dealership but now he has his own place and he will fix if anything happens 9 gauge wiring is done in the car x2 , because i also need wiring for the speakers and an amp for them. He was saying it would be better to have 2 Alternators rather then one ... Any ideas on that

9 gauge???? wtf is with that? you probally are cutting like half the power out of the alt and amp if you run 9g get some 1/0g man c'mon!!

one good big alt will be fine and yeah 9ga wire? do 10 runs of 1/0 hehehe

Im making one car for Everyday listening and one for SPL Comps
Hopefully i will be getting a Suburban in which i want to make a wall in the back but thats probably not happening till next year so i will be working on these two cars .
