Hey guys,

I just bought some Polks DB6501, and now I'm looking for an amp to power it. I'll be using a Alpine CDA-988x, the rears will be left stock, and no subs.

The DB6501 is rated for 100w rms. So I'm wondering how much power would I need to amp this. I'm not going to turn it all the way up or anything.

Also, does it matter if an amp does say 100w/channel unbridged or 100w/channel bridged? Aside from expandability issues etc. Does one produce more heat or anything like that?

Thank you.
