Dear car audio people,

I'm rebuilding my install with some other components.

I'm running 2 (O gauge?) 50mm^2 cables to the trunk of my car (about 12feet)

Having a good battery in de front, and one in the back of the car.

Wil use a Lanzar optidrive 2500, and 1 or 2 amplifiers for the front set. ( now using 2 amplifiers (c-quence) made by an old salesmanager of Audison.

Lanzar wil use about a 120A, and the other 2 amps wil do about 80 max.

Frontamps wil be replaced for an other oldskool Lanzar amp.

Would you guys recommend a PowerCap or not?

Thank you for helping,

And if I used the wrong words, please tell me.. I'm from the Netherlands...

The lanzar is not ready yet for pics... the years have made the amp look poor, and the last owner wanted him to polish... that makes me realy sad...

I'm going to polish the amp to, but its going to be ' repaint'. Don't know how it's called in englisch.. It's an electrical procces in a special liquid...

Wil post a previeuw how it;s gonna be...

Will make a picture of the other amps I use..

The left block is the collor the old lanzar will be

Why should I never require a cap ever?? Becease of the extra battery in the back. Or are those caps now a days such a poor quality that it makes your system only worse?

there is a ton of history on this question already but there is no reason to place any more load on your battery other than to feed the amps!! (quick version)
