anyone have any ideas on how to do a burp from outside the car if you have the factory head unit? i have a line out converter that im using and wondering if anyone else has done anything like this. problem is im getting up to the 150db mark and anything about that IASCA will not allow you inside the car. ideas?

get a basic switch ... then make a line out side the car for the remote switch. I do the same thing for when my amps clip during my burbs. works well.

What about a track with 10-20 seconds of silence before the burp? Would that be legal?

the silence in the track would work but it would be hard to get the timing right.

i like menace's idea but what did you hook the switch up to the remote turn on? that could work

i see in the rules what you are saying, in that class you must remain in the drivers seat. but as an overall rule in all the classes you cannot stay in the vehicle if you are going to produce a score more the 150+. so does this mean this rule overides the other one cuz how else can you do it.

u joking, right?

they do it with a remote or a podium.

you did not even mention which class you are in............soooooooooooooo

most normal people use a podium while keeping the stock head unit in place.
