I am trying to decide between 2 Audiobahn Immortal 15's, 2 RE MT 15's, and 2 Atomic Apocolypse APX 15's. I have been leaning more toward the Audiobahn's b/c they are more in my price range at the moment.

Whichever speakers I go with will be paired with 2 MA HK40000D amps.

I want to get at least mid 150's in a 96 Nissan extended cab pickup.

Do you have any pointers on what type to power supplies I will need?

Also, do you know of any web-sites that have less expensive prices on new RE's and Atomics?

Any suggestions on how to get that mid 150's range are welcome also.

You should look at the RE SX as it comes in a bit cheaper and guys have been known to put a crap load of power to them. Those amps unless your running 17v system will put out around 2800-3000Wrms each. And I have heard of some putting 3000+ to each SX for SPL burps. Also a bit cheaper then the MT. Audiobahn is ok but its no RE

you missed the most important part guys! or maybe you just didnt know, audiobahn actually has a special heat sink in the chome and disipates the extra energery fed to them by larger amps, stores them up in the form of bling, when a hot girl walks by the sub releases subsonic frequencys attracting them with the sheer manlyness, at the most perfect and oportune time the chrome sparkles with god-like qualities and allows you to easily seal the deal...dont forget the extra Dbs chrome gives ya:P lol dont mistake that as an asshole post its just all in fun sounds like u got a decent choice to make, im assuming either way with that air space in your vehicle, the amps you have, and the idea of 2 15's ur gonna be reallly loud...do you have a box already or did i miss that part of the post....good luck with ur choice fill us in when your done i miss my 15

CHROME SUBS FTW

And mid 150's Inside a truck? or blow thru? or total cut away? cause inside a truck..Good luck!! blow thru, well closer but still need alot more luck, and total cut away(walk through) This is the way :P but your going to need alot more then Audioblings, Re's closer and I can't compare the Apocolypse subs but from the videos and readings I have done, yeah

I would go with the APX's for SPL , the sx would probly be better for sq though.

I've already had 2 Kicker 12" L7 squares in a custom ported box with 2 US 600amps bridged. I hit a 146.7 with those on the floor and 145.3 on the dash.

I want REAL SPL now, but i need to know how to get it without burning my truck up and buying a new alternator every year.

A 160 wouldn't be bad though......lol.
