HELP! 12" P3 setup question

My current setup is 2 12" P3's (dual 4 ohms)in a ported box running off a t5001bd which is giving out 987wrms@ 1ohm. I have a t3002 lying around that I used to power both of them with, and would like to know that if I use both amps at 2 ohms to run each 4 ohm sub, can they take it. Here are the power ratings:

T3002: 689wrms@ 2ohm in mono mode---> powering one sub
T5001BD: 710wrms@ 2ohm---> powering the other sub

The P3s are rated at 500wrms/1000max, but im not to sure if they can handle the 710/689 if I feed it to each of them. I pump my music hard when I drive (prolly have the volume at 15-20 on an Alpine deck), and I listen a lot of hip-hop/reggae music. My car is a 2006 Mazda 3, and I have an Optima Red Top under the hood. If im able to use both amps, im going to use a Power Acoustik 4 farad cap. Please help me out with this. Am I able to use the 2nd amp in this car? Will it work properly without killing my alternator (90amp)? Thank you for your time everyone.

not that hard to determine, look at the subs' rms rating and tell me if they can take it?

however, i would love to see this set up in person.

I know they can take 500wrms, but I have heard that some subs can take more than their RMS, and they wont distort or blow, like the Type R for example. Im just not sure if the P3 can handle it though. A lot of ppl use the T10001bd to power a pair of P3s, and on the birthsheet it usually gives an actual power rating of 1400wrms-1600wrms at 1 ohm, and they would then use that amp to power two 4 ohm P3s. Im just not sure if the amps I have will be ok to use. I know they are two different models, but will that affect sound quality between the two by a large difference or not? Im kinda new at this stuff, so I appreciate all the help very much.

here is my honest opinion

i say u go for it and do it. it will be much louder probably but u will probalby kill the subs very fast. but who cares, those things are nothing special anyways. if i was you i would do it and then just throw out the subs when they blow and get some real ones.

I thought about that too lolll. I was thinking between a pair of Kicker 12" L5's, RF 12" or 15" T1s, or a pair of 12" Cerwin Vega V-Max. What would u recommend?

that all depends on what you're looking for. For spl I would use the kickers. They will probably be cheaper than the T1's and is better than them for spl as well as daily. The T1's are too expensive as well as the vegas. For the best for your buck I would go with the kickers. Just wondering who is your local dealer for the fosgates???

then get the T1's. Faizal will give you a wicked deal. Tell'em David says wassup. He sponsered me this season with a new deck to run all season while mine was trying to get fixed. Bump for a great dealer...
