Hey, Im having trouble with getting bass to the inside of the car from my trunk, for some reason it just doesnt sound right, i have a fusion fp 505 amp and 2 10 inch mtx 5500 thunders there loud , just when im inside the car they dont sound as loud... can i cut holes in the back dash to make the bass go through? or not a god idea.. thankss

instead of cutting, try removing the 6x9's from back there and see if that helps.
intrepids are big long cars.

yeah thats a pretty good idea, then what put my 6 x 9s in a ported box?
and it would be alot ebtter if my seats folded down but they dont... and i dont have boxes at the moment.. is there any other ideas or tricks? cause when i took my back seat i can see like a dynomat sorta looking thing all behind my seat, what if i removed that?

you don't want to remove that, you'll get all kinds of exhaust and whatever new sounds introduced to the cabin.

try it with the 6x9's out, and see if the bass improves, you might find the system as a whole sounds better without them anyway, but if the bass gets to the point where you think it should be but still want the 6x9's in, then consider cutting up the rear deck and put the 6x9's back in.

if that doesn't help, maybe have someone see if they can get more out the sub system you have, either by tuning or more suitable box.....if this still doesnt make you happy, then new equipment is in your future.

yeah ill prolly end up cutting the back. what about a bass amp just for my sub... cause i have one amp the fusion fp 505 running everything 2 3 n a halfs and 2 6x9s and the 2 mtxs

from what I can see, it's only rated at 125 watts rms, might want to consider something a little beefier, I'm not sure if that 5th (sub channel) on that amp goes up when ran at 2 Ohm or if it's even stable there. Or how you have it wired to your subs.....so I can't be of much help.
