I beg to differ on something Yuli, the voltage regulators are illegal in street. i had to remove mine before finals. The the rules it says you cannot use anything "step-up" the voltage. For example 13.4 at the battery, 14 at the amp(s). The rule was made the 2003, talk to Mike Stears at Maxxsonics. He will back up my statement. Hope this helps...

*I agree on the deck statement, but they told me to remove it anyway. i had mine running my deck only. Its kind of a grey area, if someone could prove the "step-up" is only running the deck, and prove to me there is a diode in line, I would let it go in Canada. Worlds would be at their own risk...

another thing I am thinking about is the damping materials rule.it says doors but what if I had no damping and did a layer of fibreglass on the floors. As well what about sprayfoam in and around the box to hold it in and fill small gaps to the rear deck of a car.

you cant do anything that's considered a non car audio related reinforcement to the vehicle. such as fiberglassing the floor of the car.

not even if the car has holes in the floor? my volvo has seen better days LOL It needs a wee floor work other then that I was not going to use anthing as the car wont rattle that much. Its solid!!
Any idea on the spray foam between the box and the rear deck of a trunked car as I was thinking of doing that so I can port right in the rear deck. see it would add stress to the port tops and snap them off without.

you can do body repair. generally, if you cant see by naked eye that some structural reinforcement has been done no one will ask.

not sure on the foam
