Street B and Street Stock A Question

Well I have a few questions for the two classes

Conductor - A conductor is a single wire (solid or stranded) that is used to carry electrical current. A traditional speaker wire consists of two conductors (one positive and one negative).

Ok I get this in the rules but in Street B does this count inside the box or just to the amp??
ie: 2 dual coil subs = 4 conductor but only two conductor is needed to run both from the box to the amp

Only "standard", 12-volt, 6-cell (connected in series), lead/acid or gel-type batteries are permitted in the Street Stock Division.

Ok I see no ref. to AGM or do they class this with one of the above??

One more thing I can`t see is voltage regulators.I see max volts but nothing on devices to keep your voltage at the max.Would they count this as a cap?

Oh one last thing what is the current scores in the two classes

Thanks I may hit the lanes this year inn one of the classes

conductor rule applies to the amplifier. inside the box doesnt count.

AGM batteries are ok as long as no other battery rule is violated.

nut sure about your questions with regards to voltage regulators, i guess if you are in street stock you could use a voltage regulator.

in street you burp with car off. not sure how you'd keep the voltage up at 14v with car off unless your battery is trained to do so. i dont think you can connect any extra cells or anythin to keep the voltage up. you can have a cap, not sure if that would help.

north american street B score is 154.5, European is 159 something.

Say on a off note you never got back to me about the sub I have had your cash sitting here from when we last talked

you can use the accuvolt, i just dont know how usefull will it be when the car is off.

i dont think they make a big enough accuvolt to be useful in Street B where you can possibly have 10k watt of amp power. I think in that scenario accuvolte will just either hold your score back or just melt when you put the massive draw on it.

it might help if you hook it up to your deck, will prevent your deck from shutting off or skipping due to voltage drop.

Ah I was thinking on building a custom one as I like what the small 50 amp one does for my tiny DD SS1.With the car off or on my amp gets 15v solid

you can use the regulator, i've seen people with it. they ran their decks off of it.

if you can get/build one that is capable of providing 800 amps of current i'd imagine it would help out alot in a Street B set up. I'd buy one if there was one available.

Thanks for the help my good man this info will come in handy.

One more thing where do they messure voltage and do they meter as you are in the lanes full time?Like during your 30sec run? Thanks again I think I may do well in the two classes.

Oh what would be the plus of running in the two classes. Is there prize money or just plastic podiums you get.Between the 1320 and this I don`t have room for more trophys LOL
