I didn't get the impression that he was looking for Focal or Zapco quality, just an amp with decent power to drive his subs. Every now and then you will see some decent quality stuff land at XS Cargo, and yes they do sell shit most of the time. They buy out large quantities of equipment when a product line is discontinued or a company goes **** up, and sometimes the stuff is of half decent quality. I'm not referring to the no-name made in china crud that you see there daily.

The QX5200 mid-woofer sounds good, the xover is pretty and appears to have good construction... the tweeter sort of matches up but I am not in love with it it is not IMO voiced to the midWoof... but that midWoof is a crisp detailed driver I would like to hear more of, it is worth an audition... they were comparable to the better drivers mentioned but I would want to hear them again before I say anymore

the Cliff stuff has a lot of style points, it is all very good looking (except for the yellow tweeter) and frankly that is important too. That is one of the reasons linear power went out of business IMO their brand new products looked like they did 15 years ago (and they were a super product line)...

I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.

You know this is the SPL thread and think my post was off topic (sorry)

I have heard/ seen Cliff amplifiers in a number of loud cars sometimes they have won sometimes not... I don't think they are as bad as some would make them out to be, and they do pretty well at their price point. Anyone who knows what they are doing can make a loudazz car with it... but can it stand up to the best... nah, but a sleeper product, sure!
