Hello my friends, I was thinking that I posted this test here, but today I did see that I didn´t post! sorry!

This I wrote on Termpro forum:

I´ve just finished the last test with a SD8000.

We have burped here 112,8Vrms in 1ohm (4x4ohm resistive dummy load), with 12,2Vdc in input...

To be as reliable as possible we used resistive load because the current and voltage have their excursion at the same time, avoiding wrong calculations (as we can see in some tests with high-inductive loads such as speakers)

I recordered everything in a single video (there is a part that was speeded up)

http://br.youtube.com/watchv/oDhRBMB3vok

So 12700W at 1 ohm and with 12,2V at input.

In fact it surprised me a bit, ehehehe. We have already tested in a 18V system with a small quantity of batteries and we did see 13kW but it was a old version, back in 2007. The last version had some moddifications (in part because we know that some companies did buy or received our amps from not-trustfull competitors to make improvements in their amps, or make new ones, and we want to be always in the top here in Brasil)

You can shurely think that something in hidden or whatever, so I´m asking to the competitors that have bought the amplifier to do power tests and record them if possible. (I think here in CCA we already have a couple of SD8000)

For who does not know: SD8000 is OUR project, made in Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil, in OUR company (yes, SounDigital)

PICS:

Best regards people.

I´m looking forward to go to Winnipeg!

I believe that was a resistor test load which u are correct would not have impedance rise because it is resistive not capacitive/inductive
