Put the spec sheet up to your ear and tell me how it sounds.... buy the Kenwood while you can.

I would personally go for the Kenwood as I can definately say the SQ is amazing. Haven't heard the Clarion, but their speakers are awesome. I have the X-991 which is the top of the Excelon line. The 792 is the next step down from the top. Always willing to let guys have a listen if interested.

what about the 6 volt pre outs on clarion, and 4 volt on kenwood, and clarion has that thingy with the speakers timed so the sound stage can be sentered on the driver?

You will never hear the difference between the output voltages....Kenwood also has T/A......buy the KW already before they raise the price......

Congrats bro, you will love it. I just hope you don't get raped by the delivery guywhen he gets there. See if you can get it shipped by USPS or DHL. If you need a hand witth install let me or the BIgRedGuy know and we can help you out. What is the rest of the system that this is for? Or is this just the 1st step of a full SQ system.
