Has any one used them, if so what are your impressions?
How is the tweeter, is it harsh or more laid back? Is the midbase pretty strong?

I own these. The inclued crossover didnt seem to tame the tweeters properly at all. I opted to run them on a 100x4 rms amp active off my alpine 9853 and havnt looked back. Considering I paid 130$ for the set due to being demo units (still have 2 yr over the counter warranty intact) they sound great. I havnt had any real high end speakers in a proper setup (cantons in my buick sounded great but horrible car to get sounding good) to compare them too but they are allright in my mazda3 stock locations. I need to deaden the doors still as they vibrate something madening but funds dont allow for this.

Thanks for your input.
My plan right now is to try and use my current component set, coincidently, Canton. They are huge drivers and thats why I was considering the T3 components. I still have them in the back of my mind. whatever route I do take, it will be an active setup.

Thanks.

Check the set screws for the speaker wire inputs. Many of them had a burr on the edge of the screw and if/when tightened down would cut through the wire strands of your speaker wire. Use a file to get rid of the burr and/or tin your speaker ends with solder.

The speakers sound good but are relatively deep and ,as previously stated, should be run in an active x-over set-up. Remember as well that they are 3ohm impendance.
