| Good choice on that package. They sound really nice and asthetics can't be beat. Great price too.
A nice amp for that package that I've done myself a few times is the Rockford Fosgate T3002 Power amp. Rockford Fosgate® - T3002
The rated power on that amp is 300 wrms bridged at 2 ohm but I have never seen a birth certificate for that amp under 800wrms bridged at 2ohm. Quite a nice little powerhouse and can be easily had in your budget. Go back and see the boys that sold you your subs and ask them about the T3002. If they don't have one in stock there are plenty to be had around the company.

| I have never seen an amp produce 266% more power then its rating. But if thats true thats impressive. I know some are claiming it will according to birthsheets but has anyone ever clamped one? but at the price of that amp or $100 more you can get twice as much power for expansion later.

| I have the Polk DB212-2 hooked up to an Alpine MRP-650 in a Sunfire and it absolutely pounds. I paid about $450 for it and it cranks out 600 watts at 2 ohms. My rule of thumb is to never pay more than a dollar per watt so keep that in mind when selecting amplifiers and remember that you will probably pay more for a class D amp than a class AB. |

| if it's running at 2ohms...yes! Like everyone's said find an amp in the 700-800 watt range at the load you're running. It'll be plenty loud and you won't fry your subs with an itchy finger.

Each sub is rated at 360 watts rms so you would be putting twice as much power through them. I wouldn't recommend an amp that puts out more than 800 watts rms. This is a very efficient enclosure so you don't need as much power to achieve very high volume levels. with my amp I have my sub level set on 2 out of 8 and the gains are modestly set. If you want to save money and have a decently loud stereo you could even get away with a 400 or 500 watt amp. This would free up some extra cash to power up your front stage speakers with a 4 channel amp (which sounds so much better) or dynamat, which you will need with these subs. |

i havent heard one, but people have told me theyre a decent amp for the price.
i see them retail for around $440, so you should be able to find one under $500.
