| I have in the past been into SPL mainly. And I have read the rules and I am debating on competing in SQ. Obviously I would be in Street Pro Class I believe as Im in the industry. My question is this does the system have to achive a certin level of SPL to compete.
Thanks

| The New IASCA rules have just been released. You can check them out on their web site. I have yet to read them but if they are the same as last year, there is a 135 db cap. So you get full points if you can do that using the provided music.

| OK so reading those does that also mean there is a Pro Street SQ 0-1000W and a Pro Street SQ 1001+ and if so what way do they rate the amps. Published RMS at lowest ohm setting?
Thanks

| USACi is based on your amps published 4ohm rms rating. If you are doing SQ then it is the total RMS power of all your gear. ie... If your HU is powering your speakers and it's power output is 26wrms x4 and your sub amp is 500wrms at 4ohms then your total system power is 604wrms and you would be in the Pro SQ (Intermediate or Advanced)601+ The example I used was me for the last 2 years.

| So even if I have an amp that does 100x2 @ 4 ohms and 150x2 @ 2ohms no matter how its wired it counts as 200?
