| Hi all:
This is my first post here. Great board. I wish I would have known about this place years ago. I could saved a lot of time and trouble!
I am switching from a Corolla to a 2000 Camry (at least for now). I also had some DIY subs and an amp stolen a while back. <F*#$#$> thieves. Because of this, it's time to put together a new system for the Camry.
To give you an idea what I was used to with the Corolla...
My stolen subs were 2 custom-made sealed enclosures, each containing a Boston RS8. My old amp (also stolen), was a Kenwood KAC-748. It drove both the old subs and the old front Boston components. I was quite happy with everything, though the bass didn't go quite as low as I would have liked, and the volume was a tiny bid inadequate. That being said, I'm not into SPL at all.
I'm perfectly happy with my older head unit, a Sony CDX-581. I recently managed to get a great deal on a Boston competitor C110 (10" Boston sub with 10" passive radiator in sealed, Boston-made cabinet). I wonder if someone can recommend a pair of Boston (2-way?) components for the front doors, that will complement the C110 nicely. Again, I'm looking for sound quality much more than SPL. I definitely want Bostons, but I'm not sure which components would complement that sub.
Can anyone make any recommendations?
Thanks

| Oh cripes. Sorry for the double-post. I must've hit return more than once by accident. Would a mod kindly clean up this mess, with my thanks, and my sincere apologies.

| Boston Pro set is the only one I would suggest. A bit pricy, but the best bang for the buck as far as Boston is concerned. If your budget is a bit lower, I suggest you wait a bit and save the extra money. Pros are worth it.

| Thanks for the input guys. Reading some reviews on the web, I get the distinct impression that the newer Boston component series are a lot more sharp/bright sounding than the older.
Can anyone confirm this?
If it's true, I'm starting to think I'll go with a used version of one of the older series, like maybe the Pro 6.5.
