Is there a huge difference between the 2 amps, sound wise? I asking about the older series (2004).

i run vrx to the mian speakers and lrx to the fill and sub

HUGE difference between them


SRX's already IMO sound better than mass majority of other amps. Keep in mind I said "sound better" not louder. I've side by side compared an SRX2 vs JL 300/2. Huge diff. 300/2 @ $749 retail vs. SRX2 @ $349 retail and HALF the size/power. The audison was MUCH more musical and detailed than the JL.


As for the LRX again, kinda takes it to the next level, again more detail/power/warmth/depth to the sound.


Then comes the VRX. Again, even more natural sounding. Very smooth, and warm. Then if you get that Class A switcher for it, sounds even better.


It's really hard to explain, you really have to find a shop that has is locally and listen to it side by side on the same speakers (which is hard to find)

when does the new line of audison vrx come out ?
