Hey all,m seeking some audio quality advice, I am doing a 6 speaker setup in my car... front speakers are Infinity Components.... That there I am fine with but just trying to figure out how to do the rear setup.... Just so ya now the car is a 95 Jetta.... The rear door speakers are 6.5 inch and I can and plan to install another set of 6.5" speakers in the parcel shelf as there is openings for 6.5" speakers back there.... Now.... Here's what I have....

2: Digital Dynamics DDw6.5's midbass
2: Cant remember the manufacture 6.5 2 way's

Here is what I am thinking.... my 2 options are...

Option 1: Install the DDw's in the doors and then 2 ways in the rear parcel shelf

OR

Option 2: Install the 2 ways in the doors and the DDw's in the parcel shelf....

What method you guy';s think is the bet way to go?

This is probably an over kill for the car but I have these DDw's layin around after 2 years I decided to fix the one thats shot (sold to me like that) and put them to use.... I was thinking on doing option 1 setup to put midbass right behind the front seats....

This car will also have 2 12" Image Dynamic subs in the trunk as well...

Thanks for your feedback

I'd go and put your better speakers up front. Probably your components in this case as you're sitting up front anyways. And use your coaxials as rear fill. You can lowpass them pretty high to keep your stage upfront and still get some sound from the rear without stealing focus.

What are you trying to achieve........... if you're going with a set of components up front and two sets in the rear, the back end of your car will likely over-power the front.

For SQ, you generally try to get your sound from a front stage with some ambient rear fill.......... and a lot of people don't even use rear fill. It's not necessary to fill your car with speakers to get good sound. You may want to consider selling off a set of those speakers and put the dough elsewhere.

If those subs are the IDQ's, VERY VERY nice !!! You'll be really happy.
