I don't want anything super powerful but I want some clean, decent bass.
This is my first system.

I haven't hooked anything up yet but this is what I got:
2 10" Rockford Fosgate P2 DVC subwoofers
1 Mono Rockford Fosgate P325.1 amp with 1000 watt stinger amp wiring kit.
Bassworx sealed dual 10" enclosure

as well as factory pioneer speakers in my civic

I am thinking of upgrading the speakers sometime in the next few months
Overall, how do you think this will sound?
People have said that the amp I have will push 2 10"s or even 2 12"s very nicely, but it is hard to believe because its only 325watt rms but 975watt max.
What is your opinion on that?

Should sound decent, really, your ears will tell you, its all an opinion and preference.

Word of advice, 'MAX' or Dynamic power are marketing gimmicks... rms power is all that matters. The amp should do fine with the 10's.

Most of the "SQ" of systems comes form speakers that are not subwoofers. So if your intent is quality, I would suggest focusing on getting some components and an amplifier to keep up with your subs.

Generally prefab boxs are frowned upon when it comes to both SQ and SPL, essentially you usually don't get the most out of your subs with one.

And thus why the "no way to know until you put it in".

my intent is to add some nice components and stuff all in time.
I gradually purchased this stuff as is, I don't have a steady cash flow so have to make do with what I have.
But Im just going for some bass right now, components later on.
keep in mind, this is my first system and I'm not made of money :P
