Alright so just two quick questions. Are these things really worth the money? I just want a litttle bit more mid bass, I don't need anything to die hard. It's for my winter beater, and would be replacing two, two way Fusion 6 1/2's. They are great speakers, sound nice, very clear even off the deck, but just not enough bass from them. Next question, if for entry level they are okay, i'm not going to be running another amp, so it would be powered off the deck. Is that even worth it? Thanks in advance.

NO!!!!

You are lacking mid bass now partly because you have no power, new speakers are not going to solve your problems, a decent amp will... even on your existing speakers an amp will , make a huge difference... Don't buy speakers buy an amp, even a 100 dollar pioneer one from Canadian tire will make such a hugh difference that you will not believe... You will thank me later.

Sounds good to me bro, thanks for the advice. But are they decent comps? Even just for beginners?

I doubt they would be much better than what you have IMO... your biggest improvment is adding a amp to power those speakers... Nothing wrong with coaxils for the average guy when they are setup right, IMO.
