I'am looking to upgrade my amps, looking at several different brands, one brand that appeals to me are the tru tech's.I really wanted the copper series were supposed to come out earlier this year but have been set back to 2009.

I'am now looking into the billet series, does anyone have any thoughts or opinions on them, what is the sq like compared to other higher end amps.

They can be upgradable with different pre amp cards. I'am running alpine f1 head /processor, so was thinking i can by-pass the pre amp and let the f1 do all the adjustment.

Would get three b-2200's, 1 for tweets(morel supremo),1 for mids (supremo 6 future plans for kicks) and 1 for supremo 9's in the doors). Was thinking to get a steg master stroke msk3000 for the subs later on.

So again any thoughts or opinions on the tru tech's sq, any other brands to look at or should I wait for the copper series to come out.

I'm sure Tim told you that would happen, but it won't... Hzemall Hzemall Hzemall...

IIRC Tim got banned for plugging his shop and being a general pain in the ass...

Anyway, as far as 'amplifier SQ' goes... it's a non issue...

I'm currently running two T03 4.150 one has bb upgrades that is running my midbase and tweeters the other is running my subs this setup is temporary till i go active. I was running Alpine pdx amps and the difference is night and day. I have noticed that my Tru amps like higher input voltage. The billet series is basically the same as T03 series however the billet series is much easier to upgrade and less expensive. To be installed is my Tru F2A acitve cross over with bb upgrades and Tru SH1. Overall these amps are awesome and put out a ton of power, however they are rather large and not really suited for stealth installation.

Thanks for the response, I've also heard that they like higher input voltage.I like the idea that they can be "upgraded easily". I heard that there might be a tube pre-amp card that might come out so that's kind of cool also.

The Tru C7 amps were the best sounding i've ever heard. i'd give them an edge over the audison (heard them both in the same car) but not by much and certainly not worth the price difference imho.
