Hey im designing a new system in my cherokee.....I was planning on using a Set of Focal K2P from a previous system, But there is no way in hell 2 install the mid in the door on a baffle cause it interfeirs with the Window crank...

Focal has a few shallow mount options....In coax and seprates.... Any one use these? Im looking for something that Has decent midbase And will handle high power sound clean at high volume Power will be supplyed by A Focal FP2.150....

Some advise or info would be great ...thanks

You might want to check out the Hertz Space series. I haven't heard this particular line but the other Hertz speakers I have heard are impressive.

Your gonna miss the sound of those k2p's why not just build some kick panels???

yes power windows are a Godsend when it come to installing drivers in the doors..

I cannot honestly comment on the shallow drivers as I have never used any, just make sure you do some reserch before your purchase... Good luck!

I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.

thanks for the replys guys....Yeah i know its hard 2 let the sound of the K2P.s go...but im not into crazy modifying in this install....Its a daily comuter And weekend warior... So abuse is a worry for me....I want something that will fit behind the un abortioned door pannel and stay safe....The add alot of deadning seal up the door and get some decent midbass hopefully... Im leaning towards some FOCAL 165VRS 6.5" Polyglass Shallow Components... Found some on ebay for 275$ hopefully they are not knockoffs lol I would like 2 support local business but i havent seen any of these at any retailers in alberta....... And im tired of getting ripped off paying almost double it seems for Focal audison or higher end names in alberta
