I havent had any products go bad on me either.

I dont think anyone can compare a system build by Gary Biggs or Mark Eldridge to one of ours. There cars are so far beyond normal it's just not funny. I think in many cases people will try to get better gear to compinsate for lack of an install. That isnt to say the install arent good, they just may not be really carzy. Not many people are willing to remove their heating system in place of a sub!

listen, you buy what you can afford based on experience, reputation, and research. If you're buying just because everyone is saying that it's the best thing since sliced bread, and you haven't even heard it yourself, then you're a goof! Everything, I buy is based on years of experience with the brand, plus I research to see if there are any inherent problems prior to purchasing..as something can pop up at anytime with poor welds, bad boards, electrical component issues, etc... That's just being a smart shopper. The experience part, well, unfortunately that comes with time...no way around that one!

I've tried JL slash series (75 x 4), PPI PCX (125 x 4), and Diamond Audio.

I now run Zapco digital amps and I have to say it is the nicest amp "musically" that I've owned. Most noticeably in the high range - tweeters seem to light up nicely with these amps. mid - low range sounds as good as any others I've tried.
