If by telling people to basically "put up or shut up" sounds arrogant, then so be it.

Soooooo many individuals (I'm sure you know who you are) did alot of talking about SQ this and competition that and the best way to win this etc., yet never came out to compete.

I may have asked what is needed for a winning SQ system but just because i asked does not mean that i was going to compete. I am sure it is the same with others. It is like asking what does it take to make a SPL system that will blow other systems away.

I just want to have a wicked system. Weither i compete or not. I am just setting the bar for myself. It tells me this is what wins so this is the best it is going to get. I have nor the time or money to be competing but does that mean that i am not worthy to have a system that will compete with the big dogs?

D-50, I have absolutely no problem with people asking about SQ or what works well or anything of that nature. In fact I encourage it!!!

I am talking about the people that actually said things like "see you in the lanes" and can't wait to go to this competition and that competition and never showed up to actually compete for whatever reasons. These are the people that tick me off.

You are entitled, and I'm sure worthy enough to have the baddest SQ truck around. I hold nothing against anybody trying to build a SQ vehicle of any kind! [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]

I hear ya about the 'bring it, don't sing it' stuff. I couldn't believe the miserable turn out at DWVW's IASCA show after so many said they would come. I went to the whole ONE SQ show out here. There was supposed to be a 2nd, and I attended it only to be told they weren't running it due to low turn-out

I personally think within a couple of years, the interest for SQ will be 50/50 with SPL and then maybe overtake it again.

Try your amp on E-Bay. Due to the price of the amplifier new($1800) and your asking price($800?) You'll probably see a little more appreciation for it on their. Also try an Alpine dealer that does trades or buys used gear(Advance in winterpig)
If I didn't already have one I'd be all over it dude. Hope you get 'er sold. What are you planning to replace it with?
