Can anyone tell me (by looking at the pic), if these crossover points are good or bad ?
What "sounds" is he trying to achieve, or eliminate ?

I am asking this so I can crossover my setup.

Looks like the low pass is 70hz and the high pass is 100hz. That is pretty common as there is usually a natural hump in frequency response around 80hz due to the size of most vehicles cabins. I personally have tried it but my systems almost always sound better when the low pass and high pass are the same frequency. My advice is just to play with crossover frequencies and just keep them so your drivers are safe and stick with the ones that sound best in your car to you.

I looks like his high pass is set at 85hz, this would make more sense then 100hz, might be too much of a gap. The only thing I can think of is he might have 5.25 or 4 " mids that he doesn't feel comfortable playing them quite too low. In my buddy's truck I low passed 1 12" sealed at 80 and high passed the mids on the amp at 110hz (was either 80 or 110) for 5.25" mids, sounds decent enough.

HMM.. I'll try various combos to see what sounds better in my crx.I guess it's all a matter of personal taste.

Very true

Crossover points will change, it depends on the vehicle, speakers, oh and of course......listen taste( ??)

But commonly 80-85hz for low pass, and 100-120 for high pass. These are the most common fixed crossover points on amplifiers that do not give a variable pot for x-over.
