Are the Monster cables for car worth the money. Are they the best or is there something better ?

I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.

Well, I work for a rather high end audio company (htttp://www.emmlabs.com) and we build recording studio equipment and just starting to get into home audio consumers with our 2 channel products.

We do use/sell with our products all cryogenically frozen cables, pure oxegen free copper, silver/gold RCA connectors, Kimber cable power cords, and even our solder is special (got some metal in it to make better connections or some crap)

It's kindof dumb, we use all this high end stuff and yeah on the computer test equipment you can see the difference on the screen with slightly less ripple or a lower noise floor, but do you think any of us can hear it? HELL NO! We've tried.

BUT, when your spending $200K or better on your studio equipment you might as well spend a couple grand and buy good quality interconnects.

When your buying $1000 worth of car audio equipment, why would you bother spending a pile on high end interconects? Get some decent cables and your set. Odds are with the ammount of distortion in the car audio world you wouldn't hear any/much of a difference

Monster Cable is really nice stuff, I've only ever seen 1 person have a problem with them.

Are they worth the price...if the rest of your system is up to par...yes they are.

The statement from Big Tom is very open-ended. They don't sound better than...??? Than what?

Another problem, they used solder, a relatively crappy conductor, good high-end cables should be welded.

And last but not least, is the gear they are using up to the challenge? Most systems aren't.
