Dave, That amp link shows your amp (MRV-f900) as being 400w's.

It seems that list is based on the 14v rating. Look at how the PG Ti amps are rated in that list.. The ti400.2 (100x2) is listed as 200w's, instead of the 74's that the manual shows @ 12v's.

And im in 601+ (not that it ever changed, my amps only have one 14v power rating).. If i where to use a 2ch amp instead of the mono block (with similar power ratings) i would be in 1-600.. O well, no big deal.

Power determination seems to be inconsistent though:

Advanced Rules: Sound Q Sec.15
The USACI rating standard is 14.4 volts with a 4 ohm non inductive load measured from 20hz to 20khz at 1% THD

Intermediate Rules: II. VERIFICATION JUDGING CRITERIA
If two documents are produced with different power ratings, the highest published stereo RMS rating at 4 Ohms and 12.6 volts will be used.
