Today I was about to buy a Bx1000d, I could only find it at some cheesy ebay store.. and I was keeping my options open. What I have decided on is doing a large package deal at Elemental Designs.

Since I have 0 experiance with car audio, I know I will at least be happy with my purchases, the only thing thats questionable are the comps.

I will be ordering (in a week or 2 when the cash is right)

eD Nine.1 - for the sub
eD Nine.2(or 4 still pending) - for the front (and possibly rear)
and a set of eDi 6000s components

It comes to around 725 (USD) than the package deal takes it to 610 (usd) so I save over 100 and it will work out to around 730 cdn.. and

FREE SHIPPING

How does that look to match my Rl-p?

I cannot comment on the system. However have you given any thought as to what you will do for installation and tuning advice? This board can only provide so much help...

I am planning to go sealed, I will get more details on box specs from the soundsplinter forums. I will admit im not looking forward to all the wiring, as I know nothing about it, I plan to read more before I get it started.

ok I have a big question, my stock speaker locations suck, they fire from the dash straight into the windsheild.. Would it be ok to put the there, than mount the tweeter on the little pilar? or should I try and make kicks (which will be an adventure.

What is the make/model/year or your car?

If SQ is your goal then stock dash mounting locations are tough to get right.

I was just taking a look, my car is a 87 murcury grand marquis, the dash actually angles into the windshield, and the dash is in crappy condition from previous owners..

I talked to my dad and I think we are going to go with the kicks in the doors, he said he has some previous fiberglass experiance.. so it should work out ok.
