I've always believed that your ears are the only true judge of quality. Over a long period when many people's ears have judged a particular component as being excellent, then I feel it's worthy of a listen, that is, for me to go out of my way to listen to them. I then decide if they are up to the hype. DON'T LET OTHER PEOPLE TELL YOU WHAT SOUNDS GOOD-YOU ARE FULLY EQUIPPED TO TELL YOURSELF!!!!!!

| ^^just being helpful, I would not buy anything(as sujective as sound components)on someone else's review. I was curious as to the price of these amps and found the link. Just being a good samaritan.

| Just for referance - Axis Audio has the TRU line of amplifiers too. I think that even if you ask the guys at the store they prefer the THESIS.
The original question was SQ - not what the best amp for the $ was !!
I think that if any of you took a listen to the THESIS it would blow your mind.
I have sold VRX series Audison amplifiers in the past and have always thought that there was nothing that sounded as good as them. But when you listen to them versus the THESIS, there really isn't any comparison.
If you guys have the chance, go by Axis or Audiolines for that matter and give the amps a listen to, they are amazing.
And even if you cant afford a THESIS - I think that you'll agree the VRX is about as good a it gets.
As far as reviews go, I agree, dont go by the reviewers opinion. The review is a good referance point, but go listen for yourselves. [ August 23, 2005, 08:39 PM: Message edited by: G-MONEY ]

Originally posted by Sassmaster: funny, but in testing, the tru technology A class stomped on the Thesis, at half the price. but then again, ferrari could market a chevette as a luxury car and people would pay 500 grand for it. | In what part or type of test did the Thesis fall short on? |

For all of you here in Ontario, there is rumour that a Thesis Vehicle will be started soon. The system will have 2 Thesis', one for the subs and one for the front end. When it is done there will be an unveiling and all who want will be invited to experience music nirvana. Any guesses what the speakers may be? |
