Nice! I have a Canton QS 2.16 component set in my own vehicle as well and no one who listens to my car can believe how smooth those tweets are! I love em!

I also must agree that the DLS Iridium is one of the best tweeters I have ever heard. Super smooth, never harsh, and the more power you give it, the more it performs. A buddy of mine has a set powered by 2 channels of an Alpine MRV F540!!! They love it

odd that you say that, when we were looking at no longer selling avi i was excited to get the dls speakers in to evaluate and was disappointed. having said that, they have won world championships many times and the way we hear is very unique. i even tested them against the eventual brand that we ended up carrying, using 6 random customers that walked throught the door(3 men and 3 women) and all preferred the other brand over the dls iridium 6.2 iirc

I have found the #1 best SQ Tweets to be the Q series mbquart, and the runner up are the AVI hf-30b.

To my ears and a few others that were in the store at the time, we agreed that these 2 have the cleanest sound out of all the others on the sound board.

Ok, some feedback on the TN52's....

Overall the build quality is excellent, very powerful magnet on this tweeter, don't get a screwdriver stuck on the magnet, you'll have a hard time separating the two!!!

Overall, they do everything well. I couln't bring them down to less than approx 3400-3600 Hz @ 18dB/Oct, without some anomalies appearing at higher power levels (They're getting 75 WRMS each), which is not surprising given the Fs is around 1800 Hz or an octave down.

Very smooth for a metal dome, detailed even at low levels (so great linearity) but they are quite directional. Not as easy to listen to at high volumes for extended periods Vs. a silk AVI tweet, but the extension in the frequency response makes up for some of that. I expect that with a little fine tuning they will be even better, and they are a moon and sun better that my old TN45's.
