Hi. I have decided to install the Polk sr 6500 in the doors of my civic, and plan to mount the tweeters on the pillars. Need your advice on: 1. Do i just install like stock or do i need to install in some other way to gain better sq from the speakers? 2. I plan on using mtx 4500 sub in infinite baffle at the rear, with the new mtx amp driving both front and rear setup, is this a good choice or should i get a bigger or different sub or amp? 3. Ill be using the kenwood dnx 8120, would it work well for music without the rear fill?

Isolating the front and rear soundwaves is a big deal for decent midbass. Consider adding a 'dynamat' style product to the door skins.

I would suggest not exptecting people to know the product when you dish out model names. IF your to lazy to put out a link to specs then you can expect us to not go out looking for the info.

Add dampening to the doors and try and close them up as Duke said.

One sub might not give you the output you might want in an IB config.

X3 what they said....also, for tweeter placement, use velcro or dum dum strip caulk type stuff and play around with tweeter locations, stock locations might just work out to be good enough.
